We need an Engineering Manager to join our Collaboration team. This is a front-line, senior position working on a brand new breakout product in the enterprise collaboration and communication software space which leverages category-creating technologies like Google Wave and real-time web.

Job Description and responsibilities:
The right person for this job MUST HAVE the following attributes, proven experience, or capabilities:
- Building large-scale service offerings that are fundamentally fault-tolerant and scalable (especially Cloud/SaaS offerings).
- Be a good manager with proven ability to motivate and mentor highly-skilled engineers.
- Be a good technologist.
- Version 1.0 release of web-based software applications.
- Strong engineering processes & skills. Scrum master certification not required, but deep familiarity with Agile development is important.
- Passion around collaboration.
- Thrive in a fast-paced, startup-like environment.
- Familiar with agile/scrum methodologies and willing to work within that style of environment.
- Proven ability to successfully manage product development when directions/focus change rapidly.
- Quick-hitting, agile, and entrepreneurial.
- Experience in consumer-oriented software offerings, especially cloud/SaaS collaboration tools.
- Passion for software engineering and putting in the hours it takes to guide and mentor a dedicated team to success.
Some qualifications for the position include:
- Bachelors Degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- Proven management skill for teams of between 8-15 engineers and QA engineers.
- Proven success in fast-paced environments developing and launching brand new software product offerings.
- Experience in collaboration and end-user computing software space.
